Terms of service

Terms, without the legalese.

In short

This website is informational; real project work is agreed in writing before it starts. You own your deliverables after full payment, and I may show non-confidential work in my portfolio unless we agree otherwise. My liability is capped at the fees you paid, and I never promise specific business results. Pakistani law applies unless a signed agreement says otherwise.

01Who I am

I am Malik Hamza Shabbir, a solo full-stack and AI engineer in Abbottabad, Pakistan (GMT+5), working with clients worldwide. There is no company or team behind this site, just me. By using hamzashabbir.dev you accept these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the site.

02Using this website

You are welcome to browse, read, link, and share. A few fair rules:

  • Do not send spam or abuse through the contact or newsletter forms.
  • Do not scrape the site or republish its content in bulk.
  • Do not attempt to access the admin panel; it is not for visitors.

Anything you submit through a form is handled as described in my Privacy Policy, and you can ask me to correct or delete your data anytime.

03Content on this site

The design, code, articles, and branding here belong to me. Client work shown in the portfolio appears with permission. You may quote my articles with a link back; please ask before republishing anything in full. I usually say yes.

04How projects begin

Everything on this site, including service descriptions, is information, not a binding offer. Sending a contact or hire form does not create a contract between us.

A project starts only after we agree scope, price, and timeline in writing, through a proposal or a signed agreement. That document governs the engagement, and wherever it differs from these terms, the written agreement wins.

A mutual NDA is available on request if your project is confidential.

05Who owns the work

You own the final deliverables once the project is paid in full. Until then, the intellectual property stays with me. I keep a non-exclusive right to show non-confidential work in my portfolio, case studies, and professional profiles, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Work covered by an NDA stays out of the portfolio.

06No promised business outcomes

I work with reasonable skill and care, and I will tell you plainly what I think will work. What I cannot do is promise specific business results, such as search rankings, traffic, revenue, or conversions. Too much of that depends on factors outside my control.

07Limits on my liability

This website is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. For client work, my total liability is capped at the fees you actually paid me for that engagement, and I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, such as fraud or gross negligence.

08Ending an engagement

Either of us can end an engagement with written notice, and email counts as written notice. Work completed up to that point is billed and payable. Handover details, if any, follow the project agreement.

09Blog posts are opinion

My articles are personal opinion and educational content, not professional, legal, financial, or engineering advice. Technology changes fast, so I cannot guarantee every post stays accurate or complete. Test and verify anything from the blog before you rely on it in production. Posts may be updated without notice.

10Third-party links and tools

This site links out to Calendly for booking calls, and to WhatsApp, GitHub, LinkedIn, and my other profiles. The moment you leave this site, their terms and privacy policies apply, not mine. I am not responsible for third-party content or services.

11Governing law and changes

These terms, and any engagement without its own signed agreement, are governed by the laws of Pakistan. A signed agreement between us can choose differently, and then it prevails.

If something goes wrong, email me first at hamzadevtech01@gmail.com. I reply within one business day, and most issues are settled with a conversation.

If any clause here proves unenforceable, the rest still stands. When I update these terms, I post the new version with a revised date and flag material changes. Updates are never retroactive.
